You know what I love?

When my meal at an otherwise costly restaurant costs $6 AND it’s Paleo, AND it includes bacon.

My “meal” wasn’t one of the $30+ entrees or a $11+ burger. It was a $7 side of Bacon Brussel Sprouts.

And, it was an entire bowl of them, definitely meal-sized, and as much or more volume/filling-wise than some of my other friends got with their regular orders.


I’m not gonna lie.

Despite the steaming with garlic and ginger, and the tossing in butter/salt/pepper, these brussel were just nothing compared to my BACON BRUSSEL SPROUTS  or  BACON BRUSSEL BAKE.

The difference, you ask?

They seemed to have steamed the brussels. The secret is to (over)bake or saute them until they get caramelized!

This is what makes them truly, truly delicious.

That said, they were still delicious. You just can’t go wrong with the combo.

    I’ve had broiled Brussel sprouts with bacon and it was really good.
    Just goes to show the power of bacon that it can over power the awfulness of Brussel sprouts and make it taste good.
