Bacon Chocolate

Bacon Chocolate

FACT: The country that consumes the most chocolate per capita –  Switzerland – has also produced the most Nobel Laureates per capita.

Next they should study what greatness occurs in countries of highest bacon consumption. I’m gonna guess greatest personalities. Purely anecdotal guess.

Obviously, we need to combine these ingredients and their associated traits.

I’m gonna go ahead and say that chocolate + bacon + pinch of cayenne is how great thinking gets kickstarted and how great ideas get heard through great personalities.

Lotta greats in there. Kinda like this recipe.

BACON CHOCOLATE COYOTE BARK

  • crumbled bacon
  • 4 oz (squares) unsweetened baking chocolate
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil or bacon grease
  • 2-4 tbsp unsweeting baking cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne (red pepper) powder
  • 1-2 tbsp nut butter
  • sweetener, to taste
  • salt, to taste

OPTIONAL

  • sprinkling of shredded coconut / coconut flakes
  • nuts of your choice

INSTRUCTIONS

  2. Turn off heat and stir in coconut oil/bacon grease and nut butter until smooth.
  3. Add additional cocoa powder and red pepper.
  4. Add sweetener and salt, to taste.
  5. Mix in bacon and optional coconut flakes and nuts.

Instead of the nut butter, I’m going to use pure maple syrup. YUM!!! 🙂
