Bacon Chocolate Mousse

Hate the hassle of homemade ice cream?

Meeeeeee tooooo.

Why not go straight for the good stuff? Whip up a cold, creamy, chocolate-y bacon dessert in minutes.

Bacon-Sprinkled Chocolate Mousse:

it’s better than ice cream

I’m not trying to sound like an advertisement, but if you need your chocolate and bacon fix, well, I’ve got a really easy solution.

Bonus: it’s dairy, egg, and sugar/sweetener-free.

Even I can’t believe how easy it is.

  • bacon, crumbled
  • can of coconut milk (cold from fridge, full-fat)
  • 2-4 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

optional ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp coconut cream
  • coconut flakes / shredded coconut

  1. Whip coconut milk in a Magic Bullet, blender, or food processor.
  2. Blend in cocoa powder, cinnamon, and coconut cream (if using).
  3. Spoon into bowls, sprinkle with bacon and shredded coconut flakes.

TIP: If you place back in fridge or freezer for a few minutes, it’ll thicken.

i won’t lie – this one had me tempted and if we’d had the ingredients i would have gone for it – looks amazing – will have to settle for this:

So no sweetener at all! Did it taste sweet from the coconut mik?

    • no sweetener! the coconut milk does make it just barely sweet. but… i like black coffee and really dark chocolate 😉

the less cocoa powder used, the sweeter it will be!
